Sales Tracker allows you to track sales of any store or product listing.

Add stores and products to Sales Tracker to track performance over time, monitor sales, and spot the next big opportunity before others.

If there is a product you like in the product database, click on the TRACK button beside it. Here is an example:

You will have two options:

  • Start Tracking Product

  • Start Tracking Store

🛈 Info: If you track the product, your sales tracker will show the product's sales data for your selected period. If you track the store, you will see how the store is performing over time.

In this example, I will choose Start Tracking Store.

My Tracking

This part of the Sales Tracker shows the stores you track. The page gives you a snapshot of a store’s performance.

With this data, you can see:

  • Revenue for the current day

  • Revenue for the previous day

  • Revenue for the past 7 days

  • Revenue for the past 30 days

I can also see how many products the store has.

If you want to view more data, you can click INSIGHTS, and you will see this:

This dashboard shows several important key items when spying on a competitor.

  • Store Creation Date – the date the store launched on Shopify; this tells you how long this company has been in business.

  • Store Theme – This is the Shopify theme the store is using.

  • Store Language – the primary language of the store

  • Store Products – the number of products the store carries

  • Store Apps – click the VIEW LIST link to see what apps the store is using.

  • Social Channels – this shows the social channels connected to this Shopify store. If you click on the social channel icon, you will be redirected to the social channel page of that store.

Here is an example of the apps that a store uses:

If you scroll down, you will see three charts on this page. The first chart shows the total revenue of the store for the last 30 days.

The second one shows the total units sold for the same period, and the last chart shows the number of unique products sold.

This store has 291 unique products, but only 115 are “hot.” Thus, its revenue of $1.2 million comes from only 39.51% of its product line-up.

Top Stores

The Top Stores link shows you the top-performing stores in the Shopify universe. You can choose the timeline between the Last 7 Days or the Last 30 Days.

Additionally, we offer a wide range of filters, such as revenue, sales, products, language, and date, for you to explore.

You can also search for specific stores to view their sales revenue.

If you find a store that interests you, be sure to track it. The list of top stores resets every 24 hours, so tracking ensures you don’t lose track of your favorite stores.

Top Products

The Top Products section is similar to the Top Store, but it tracks individual products. Here is an example:

Like the Top Stores, If you find a product that interests you, track it. The list of top products resets every 24 hours, so tracking ensures you don’t lose a winning product.

You can enter a keyword in the search box at the top to find top products related to your search term. However, please note that this search is limited to top products or store selections and does not encompass the entire database.

And just like Top Stores, there are extensive filters for you to play around with to find your next winning product.

How to increase your product/store tracking limit

There are two ways to increase your limit:

  1. Upgrade your subscription plan. You can find details about the limits on our pricing page.

  2. Click "Increase Tracking Limit" in the top right corner of "My Trackings" in the Sales Tracker. This option is available for both products and stores, but please note that the credits are separate for each.
